Product Maintenance

Barcode Trading Post offers maintenance contracts of varying length on used barcode equipment. Coverage is available on equipment purchased from any source, and can be purchased for lots of any size – from individual units to company-wide contracts.

Service Offerings

To insure the longevity of your equipment, BCTP has two maintenance plans to choose from:

Depot Maintenance – Provides a 7 to 10 day turnaround on repairs in the event of equipment failure. Depot maintenance is recommended for applications that include multiple or backup units. Repaired items are shipped back to you at our cost.

Overnight Loaner Maintenance – Provides an overnight loaner unit of comparable or higher quality to guarantee your productivity. The overnight loaner option is ideal for mission-critical equipment. All shipping costs are covered by BCTP.

Preventative Maintenance

Both Depot and Overnight Loaner Maintenance include a 6 Month Checkup for your used barcode product. Preventative maintenance includes:

• Replacement of worn belt drives
• Inspection of all wearable parts
• Print head cleaning
• Calibration and setting adjustment, as necessary
