2. Products and Availability

3. Refurbished and Used Equipment

Unless clearly stated otherwise, refurbished and used equipment may not include an active manufacturer warranty. BCTP may test, clean, repair, or refurbish equipment before shipment, but refurbished equipment is sold based on the condition and warranty terms stated at the time of sale.

4. Repairs and Service

Barcode Trading Post may provide repair evaluation, troubleshooting, parts replacement, refurbishment, and related barcode hardware services. Repair timelines are estimates and may vary based on parts availability, equipment condition, testing requirements, and workload.

  • Customers are responsible for accurately describing the equipment issue.
  • Some problems may not be repeatable during testing.
  • Additional issues may be discovered after equipment is opened or tested.
  • Repair approval may be required before work is completed.

5. Automated Receptionist and Repair Intake

BCTP may use an automated receptionist or automated repair intake process to collect customer information, equipment details, issue descriptions, and contact information. This process is designed to make repair requests easier and help route information to the correct team member.

6. Shipping

Shipping costs, shipping methods, delivery dates, and carrier availability may vary. Unless otherwise stated, customers are responsible for shipping equipment to BCTP for repair or evaluation. Risk of loss may transfer once a shipment is delivered to the carrier.

  • Customers should package equipment carefully to prevent damage during shipping.
  • BCTP is not responsible for damage caused by improper packaging.
  • Shipping delays caused by carriers are outside BCTP’s control.

7. Returns and Evaluation Period

Return eligibility may depend on the product type, condition, timing, and whether the item was new, used, refurbished, special order, custom-configured, or repaired. Returns may require prior authorization from BCTP.

  • Returned items must include all required accessories, packaging, and components.
  • Items damaged, altered, or missing parts may not qualify for return.

Payment terms are determined by the quote, invoice, checkout terms, account status, or written agreement. Orders may be delayed or canceled if payment is not received or approved. Past-due balances may result in delayed shipments, suspended services, or additional collection activity.

11. Pricing and Errors

BCTP makes reasonable efforts to maintain accurate pricing, descriptions, and product information. However, errors may occur. BCTP reserves the right to correct pricing, product descriptions, availability, or order errors before shipment or service completion.

Product names, brand names, trademarks, and logos belong to their respective owners. References to Zebra, Honeywell, Datalogic, or other manufacturers are for product identification and compatibility purposes only.

16. Changes to These Terms
