The HotShot is intuitive and easy to use. A large two-color LED and adjustable volume beeper provide positive feedback. The protective overmolded canopy absorbs impact, protects the exit window from damage and prevents it from sliding off the counter.

Available in decoded and undecoded versions, HotShot offers impressive features such as Flash memory, RSS decode capability, Advanced Data Formatting (ADF) and support for 123Scan a Windows®-based scanner set up utility. The HotShot can be programmed via PC download, or by scanning a sequence of bar codes in the product guide.

The LS 2100 has an excellent scanning range and a large "sweet spot" that reads 13 mil (100% UPC/EAN) bar codes from 0 to 17 in./0 to 43 cm—ideal for scanning large or bulky items in the bottom of the cart at point of sale. Multiple on-board interfaces: RS-232, Keyboard Wedge, Wand Emulation, IBM 468X/469X, USB and Synapse plus universal cabling provide connectivity to virtually any host.
